Special Class on Current Events (HH250-02 only)

Take about 10-15 minutes to reflect on a news item that you learned about last night for homework. You might approach your reflection in a number of ways, but do consider approaching it through the frame of the questions below:

• What event did you choose and why did it catch your attention?
  
• What might be the significance of this event to you, your community, and the broader world?
  
• How might this event be connected to other events you have seen in the news or read about in Humanities (or another class)?
  
• What response does this event evoke for you? How might others see it differently? What factors might shape one’s perception of the event?
